CHIEF OLUSEGUN OSUNKEYE (CHAIRMAN, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CHAMSACCESS LIMITED)
Chief Olusegun Oladipo Osunkeye, OON, born in 1940, is a renowned Chartered Accountant who started his accountancy apprenticeship at Akintola Williams and Company in 1959. He later went to England in 1963 and completed his ACCA and Institute of Taxation finals in 1965. He joined the Food Specialties Nigeria Limited (now Nestlé Nigeria Plc) in 1972 after 5 years of service at UAC Nigeria.
He rose to the position of the DMD in 1981 and later became the MD/CEO in 1991, a position he held till 1999 when he retired after 27 years of service. He was then made a non-executive Chairman of the Board upon retirement. He holds this position till date. He is a fellow of Institute of Directors, London and Nigeria, and the Nigerian Institute of Management. He is an old boy of Kings College, Lagos. He is also a graduate of the then Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology, Ibadan. He is an alumnus of Management Development Institute (IMEDE) in Switzerland.
He is also the Chairman of the Board of various companies including GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria Plc, International Chamber of Commerce (Nigerian Chapter). Chief Olusegun Osunkeye is a member of Board of Presco Plc, WAPCO and Chams Plc.
He is a father and grandfather and enjoys playing golf.
MR ADEMOLA BENJAMIN ALADEKOMO (VICE-CHAIRMAN, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CHAMSACCESS LIMITED)
Mr. Ademola Aladekomo, a distinguished entrepreneur, born 1957, is the Managing Director of Chams Plc, a company he established in 1985 with virtually no capital and through a dint of hard work had grown into a world class brand. Mr. Aladekomo is a highly experienced IT practitioner with some of the landmark achievements in the industry associated to him, arising from his visionary capacity in IT. He was responsible for the establishment of the first wide area networking (WAN) on PC in Nigeria. In addition, Chams, under his leadership was the first company to venture into card technologies in Nigeria and the applauded success story of Valucard is a brainchild of Mr. Aladekomo
He is the chairman of various companies including Treasurenest Limited, Smart City Resorts Plc, Crops Nigeria Limited, Insider Concepts Limited, Paymaster Limited, Card Centre Limited, and CityLink Rail Limited. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of numerous companies including Supercard Nigeria Limited, CityLink Transit Limited and CityLink Marine Limited.
He is a Fellow, Nigeria Computer Society, Computer Professionals of Nigeria, Board Chair of Federal Government Boys College, Abuja and Board Chairman, Volunteer Corps.
He attended the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and graduated with a B.Sc in Computer Engineering in 1982. He proceeded to the University of Lagos in 1985 for his MBA program. It was after this he established Chams Nigeria Plc (now Chams Plc) and in the Chief Executive Program, CEP1, Lagos Business School in 1992.
He is married to Titilola and is blessed with four lovely children and a granddaughter.
Lady Chikwue Ochiagha is a lawyer by profession. She is from Anambra state and was born 1963. She started her career as a Counsel in 1986 in Onyeabo Obi & Co where she was till 1990 when she founded her own Law Firm. She is the Principal Counsel, T. Chikwue Ochiagha & Co, a position she has held since 1990. Her career spans Civil Litigation, Commercial Law Practice, and Public Law. She has a LLB (Hons.) B.L. from Ahmadu Bello University.
Her professional qualifications include BL and Notary Public. She is a member of Nigerian Bar Association (where she was the Secretary, Lagos Branch from 1992- 1997), International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Girls Brigade Nigeria (she is the Captain, 8th Mainland Company), Secretary of Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) Trust Fund, Registrar, Diocese of Lagos Mainland, Member of the Lagos Anglican Schools Management Board and also a Director, JUNOT Construction Limited.
She is married to Engineer Ikechukwu Ochiagha Ksc. She is a devout Christian, is a firm believer in the awesome power of God, hard work, and full commitment to all endeavors. She enjoys traveling and working in the Church.
Mr. Timi Akinde was born of the 9th of November, 1973. He is an Investment Banker by profession. He attended the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife where he had a B.Sc (Hons) in Economics. He later proceeded to Birkbeck College, University of London where he got a Postgraduate Certificate in Finance (Major in Mathematical Finance) from 1998- 1999 and later to ISMA Centre, University of Reading where he got an M.Sc International Securities, Investment & Banking in 2000.
Upon going to the United Kingdom in 1997, he started work at Barclays Funds Limited, Gredley House, London before he left for Birkbeck College. There, he managed relationships with security trustees and maintained balanced position that arose from the creation and liquidation of units within the Barclays Global Investors Fund.
His career spans stints with Gartmore Investment Managers, Fenchurch Street, London, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, London and Leadbank Plc, Lagos, Nigeria (Now Afribank Plc).
He was the Project Manager (DFID Project) at the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) in Abuja from November 2005 to August 2007.
He is currently at UBA Global Markets Limited, where he is the Vice-President. He is the team leader on originating, structuring and executing raising debt finance US$450m for a cross border acquisition (European Listed Offshore Support Company) in a full majority equity interest bid.
He enjoys squash, travelling and current affairs. His philosophy of life is “If you don't know where you are going, anywhere will do”.
MR PETER AMEADAJI (DIRECTOR, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CHAMSACCESS LIMITED)
Mr. Peter Ameadaji LLB (Hons.) B.L. is the principal partner of PAC Solicitors. He holds a Bachelors degree in Law. He graduated in 1983 from the University of Jos, Nigeria and was called to bar as a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria after graduating from the Nigerian Law School in 1984. He started his law career with the Civil Litigation Division of the Federal Ministry of Health as an Assistant Legal Adviser.
He joined Union Bank of Nigeria Plc as a Legal Officer in 1985 and then left there for African International Bank Limited (then Bank of Credit and Commerce International (Nigeria) Limited). He was the Assistant Company Secretary/ Legal Adviser before going into full time private practice. He founded PAC Solicitors in 1989. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
He served on the pioneer Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Internet Group (NIG). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of some public and private companies amongst which is ChamsAccess Limited as well as on the Board of Charity Organizations. He has attended several training programs and seminars on Law, Management and Leadership at the Haggai Institute, Maui, United States of America, Galilee College, Israel, INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau, France and IESE Business School of the University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain where he did an Executive Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. He has acquired over the years, core skills in Corporate Finance Law, Real and Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology Law. He is married and blessed with children.
MR KAYODE AYENI (DIRECTOR, BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CHAMSACCESS LIMITED)
Mr. Kayode Ayeni, an Accounting graduate of the University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He initially trained with the firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Thereafter, he had a stint in banking and financial services, rising to the position of Manager in Devcom Merchant Bank in 1992.
Mr. Ayeni also holds a M.Sc. in Financial Economics from the University of London and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos. He worked with the Federal Government on the Presidential Committee on Revenue Generation, then a USAID/World Bank funded assignment as Privatization Adviser to the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE). He was with the BPE up till he took up his appointment as the pioneer MD/CEO of First Funds Limited (FFL). Upon leaving First Funds Limited, he founded Sandhurst Investments Limited where he currently is.
MR OLUSEYE FEMI-GUREJE (CEO, CHAMSACCESS LIMITED)
The Chief Executive Officer for ChamsAccess Ltd is a graduate of the University of Lagos. Seye is a Microsoft Certified Practitioner and holds a Prince 2 Certification in Project Management amongst others. He has vast experience in developing, design and deployment of enterprise solutions in the banking and e-payment sector. He joined Chams as General Manager responsible for ChamsMobile Ltd and later seconded to take over ChamsAccess Ltd.
Seye has contributed and nursed various Projects within the Chams Plc group, in a both Strategic and Advisory Nature. Examples are the Chamsswitch Implementation, ChamsMobile, and Chams DataCenter Implementation. Seye led a re-engineering process in ChamsAccess as a Strategic Business unit for Chams Plc for a period of 6 months, which culminated in it being ceded out as a subsidiary of Chams Plc in January 2009. Prior to joining Chams Group, he held various Project & Program Director Roles.
He is a Trustee of the Higher Ground United Reformed Church and a member of the British Computer Society.
He is also a director in a number of UK and Nigerian based Companies.
