The Company
ChamsAccess Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chams Plc. It commenced operations as an independent company on 2nd January, 2009. ChamsAccess Ltd had operated as a business unit in Chams Plc for three years before the board of Chams Plc approved to set-up ChamsAccess as an independent subsidiary. The Company is born out of the need to bridge a perceived information gap in the country and to provide the consuming public with the quality and convenience of service they rightly deserve.
ChamsAccess Limited deploys and maintains ChamsAccess Service Terminals (CAST) which is a one-stop shop that enables e-payment. It is a 24/7 self-service, e-payment platform that allows the use of payment cards. Our 24/7 services implies that we are still at work even when the banks have closed. It is safe, fast, and convenient and does not need human interface. The terminals facilitate payment of bills, purchase of airtime recharge cards, telephony services and video emailing. We are also the sole distributor of KingTeller ATMs in Nigeria. We deploy (In this case we manage the Cash handling) and sell ATMs.
ChamsAccess has partnered with NITDA to deploy to the 774 Local Government Areas in the country. This is to enable rural Information Technology development. Our plan is to provide convenient and affordable Telephony and Internet Services to the rural community. The e-booth concept which consists of 3 ChamsAccess terminals and 1 ATM is designed to make e-payment and migration to a cashless society an achievable goal.
The terminals are incorporated with biometric properties, to essentially fill some gaps in our clients’ needs and also to buttress the fact that we continuously work to meet our clients’ expectations.
